I know that's right, he's a founding member of the band and beats the daylights out of that funny looking stand up contraption he calls a drum set.






Frank McCreary - Guitar, Vocals
He can't remember not having a guitar in his hands, that's why the neck is usually just a little bit sticky from whatever he's been eating. He bleeds a strange seafoam green color.

Danny Reaves - Guitar, Vocals
Another founding member of the group and a giant among us, he's probably 8 feet tall. A master of funky rhythms and soulful guitar playing, he's a superstar. Representing Street MD 21154!





Glenn Workman - Keyboard, Vocals
He joined the band mostly because he doesn't have to wear shoes anywhere they play. He only owns 2 pairs of shorts and 4 beach shirts, so the wardrobe picked the band, not the other way around.

Since 1998, audiences from all over the Mid Atlantic have been enjoying the hot summer sounds of Sons of Pirates. Sometimes billed as a Jimmy Buffett tribute band, SOP is much more, playing the beach music of Buffett, Marley, Zac Brown and splashing in classic hits from Eagles, James Taylor and BNL as well as many more. SOP thrives on it’s audiences and their participation in the show. Every show is like a party at the beach.

Sons of Pirates has headlined many events and venues including The Towson Festival, Rio Center Concert Series, Belvedere Square Summer Concert Series, Towson Feet on The Street, Frederick in the Street, Harborplace Concert Series, Dundalk Heritage Fair, Ocean City Spring Fest, City of Rockville Hometown Holidays, Hollywood Casino, Harrington Casino, Hunt Valley Town Center, Howard County Summer Concerts, Hard Rock Cafe, Town of North Beach Concerts and many more. They are also one of the most sought after bands for private affairs playing regularly for many major corporate and government clients including Maryland Emergency Management, Baltimore Ravens, Baltimore Orioles, NCAA, Maryland Tourism Council, United States Navy, City of Leonardtown, Hyatt Cambridge, and many more.
